I remember sitting on pews in the church, and they had a few kids over here on this side, and they had a few kids over here on this side, and they sang a song that went something like this, hallelu, hallelu, hallelu, hallelujah praise yes the Lord, you know it, right? And when you got to your part you stood up, and then you'd sit down while the other person said praise the Lord and then in the middle, it kind of switches, 'cause it goes, praise ye the Lord, hallelujah, and everybody would mess that up, even though it's not that hard.īut that was my recollection of the word hallelujah. And I think where I first learned the word hallelujah was in VBS as a little kid. I was thinking about the word hallelujah this week, and where I first learned it.
This morning, I wanna talk about the word hallelujah.
